ST. LUKE'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH CEMETERY |
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church cemetery is located at the intersection of Routes 615 and 711, Powhatan County, Virginia. It was surveyed June 15, 16, 17 and July 20, 1996 by Catherine Lynn Nowery and Sharon Lee Nowery. |
The cemetery also has a number of tombstones that are not engraved as well as unmarked graves. Burial information for unmarked graves as extracted from the St. Luke’s Church (Protestant Episcopal), Powhatan Co., VA Records 1842-1936, presented to the Virginia Historical Society by the vestry of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Powhatan, Va., 12 December, 1990, is shown following the known tombstones. As the records are difficult to read, a copy of the handwritten name from the records is included for clarification purposes. |
