   The Mount Pero Baptist Church cemetery was surveyed in July 2009 by Raymond Butcher. In addition to engraved tombstones, there are 4 graves with only funeral home markers. There are several graves marked with only a stone and 4 graves marked as "Unknown". As of August 2009, there are 213 identifiable graves. The cemetery is maintained in excellent condition and may be reached by:
     1. Take Rt. 60 west from Chesterfield to Powhatan.
     2. Continue west to the intersection of Rt 60 and Rt. 522.
     3. Turn left on Rt. 1002 (Emmanuel Church Rd.).
     4. Continue on Emmanuel Church Rd. which turns into Rt 13 (Old Buckingham Rd.) for 9.4 miles. Turn right on Cook Rd.
     5. The church and cemetery are approximately 1/10 mile on the right.

There are two different graves in this cemetery marked with the headstone of "Elizabeth M. Brown", one with birth and death dates and the other with no dates at all. This documentor cannot determine if this is the same person or not.
