        Mozelle D. Harris, 89, of Powhatan, widow of Joseph "Joe" Harris, died January 19, 2009.

        She is survived by one son, Joseph "Jody" Harris (Joan); one daughter, Janet Meade (Frank), all of Georgia; brother John Kenneth Davis of Richmond; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a nephew and his wife, her caregivers, Ronnie and Ann Davis.

        The family received friends Thursday, January 22, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home.

        Funeral services were held Friday 11 a.m. in Red Lane Baptist Church. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Powhatan Volunteer Rescue Squad.
