        Dennis "Spanky" Heath,45, of Powhatan, died December 8, 2008.

        He is survived by his wife, Tammy Heath; mother, Della Heath; brother, Donnie Heath; sister, Donna Heath, all of Powhatan; niece, Denice Strader; great niece, Taylor Murphy; and a host of devoted friends.

        The family received friends Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt 60), Powhatan.

        A graveside service was held Friday, 2 pm in the Powhatan Community Cemetery.
