Leonard A. Taylor

        Leonard A. Taylor, 1027 Barry Court, Hampton, VA, son of the late Levi and Violet Taylor, departed this life on Monday, September 1, 1980.

        He joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in August, 1930. He took an active part in the church as an usher.

        In 1939 Leonard took a wife, Amy, and in 1942 he moved to Newport News, Virginia.

        He is survived by his wife, Amy, two daughters, Shirley and Josephine; two sons, Alonzo and Leonard, Jr.; five grandchildren; two daughters-in-law; two sons-in-law; a mother-in-law; eight sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; two aunts and a host of other relatives and friends.
