Gwendolyn Twana Jackson

Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery

God saw the road was getting rough,

The hills were hard to climb,

He gently closed those loving eyes,

        And whispered "Peace be thine,"

The weary hours, the days of pain,

        The sleepless nights are passed,

The ever patient worn out frame,

Has found sweet rest at last.

Precious Memories

Those we love must someday pass beyond our present sight
Must leave us and the world we know, without their radiant light.
But we know like a candle, their lovely light will shine
To brighten up another place, more perfect, more divine.
And in the realm of Heaven, where they shine so warm and bright
Our loved ones live forever more in God's eternal light.
